This client wanted to raise and lower the Hopper units hydraulically to facilitate movement around the site.
Application Details:
To raise and lower the Hopper units hydraulically to facilitate movement around the site. Operation of a sliding door / gate system to allow controlled discharge of the hopper contents into transport vehicles. Tight restrictions were imposed for the E-Stop Closure of the Gate system. The units also supply electrical current to floodlights, alarms and traffic light operations for Safe Operation of the Hopper Discharge procedures - 24 hours a day during vessel Operations
Antech UK Activity:
Antech Hydraulics designed, manufactured, and supplied the hydraulic unit and component parts. All pipe work installation, flushing and the system commissioning were included. All electrical aspects were controlled by the Client under the advice of Antech Hydraulics. Penalty Clauses were in place but the contract for two units was successfully completed to the Project Schedule.
